Young Entrepreneurs Programme

In May, BOP Industries, a leading Australian Education Company will be visiting Onslow to inspire young people to start their own business.

The action-packed programme will see attendees hearing from inspirational speakers, exploring the business ideas they could start and developing their entrepreneurial skills. 

They will be supported to find a business idea, create a brand, develop a product or service to sell, and to create a basic business model to get started.

Where: RM Forrest Hall   

When: 27th May -8.30am - 2.00pm 

Who: Ages 12-18

Business Mentor Expression of Interest: 

Are you a local business owner who would be interested in sharing your knowledge with young people, to help bring their business ideas to life?

After the workshop, to continue to support our young people in their business venture, we are looking for guest speakers and/or mentors to come and help them bring their business ideas to life. 

Are you an inspiring community member, with experience in starting a small business?  Are you willing to share your own firsthand experiences in starting a business, and answer any questions our budding entrepeneurs may have?

Whatever level of support you are willing to offer, we want to hear from you!

Young Entrepreneurs:

What can you expect to gain from attending the programme?

  • Explore the different types of businesses that you can start whilst still at school
  • Identify your target customers, design your brand and plan your products and services
  • Explore launch strategies and how you can get set up for sales
