The Onslow community continues to evolve and grow, thanks to the presence of Chevron’s $29 billion Wheatstone project, and BHP’s Macedon gas project. With a population of more than 800 residents, combined with a significant FIFO population based at the Ashburton North Strategic Industrial Area, Onslow has undergone an impressive economic and social transformation.
The Onslow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) is an independent and not for profit organisation that provides advocacy and representation, networking and events and business support for Onslow’s dynamic business community. Since becoming incorporated in 2004, the OCCI has grown its membership to more than 135 local businesses, and has developed a reputation as a highly credible business sector champion.
OCCI members are the driving force behind the Chamber’s decisions and initiatives, helping to create impact in Onslow. Members are able to access a range of unique services and opportunities, including:

In addition to supporting individual businesses, the OCCI is also pro-active in relation to improving the economic, social, cultural and environmental sustainability of the region through projects such as the Onslow Investment Guide and the Business and Visitor Stimulation Project. In supporting and promoting local business, the OCCI is aware of the big picture – in particular the long term sustainability of Onslow as a thriving community.
