The Pilbara Tourism Association is bringing this in person workshop to Onslow. Held at the OCCI boardroom it will be FREE of charge to attend. 

This is a beginner-level customer service training program that aims to encourage all businesses to provide excellent customer service. The program covers the fundamentals of delivering quality customer service through face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, email, and social media. The objective is to ensure that customers have a memorable experience when visiting our stunning region. This training is suitable for those who are new to the industry, as well as those who are already working in tourism and need a refresher.

The trainer is Gail Gower is a resident of Broome and has been living in the North of Western Australia for more than 30 years. She has worked with numerous operators across the Pilbara and Kimberley regions. Her work experience includes managing resorts, collaborating with tour operators, and working in sales and marketing roles within the retail and wholesale travel industries. She has a comprehensive understanding of the travel industry and has recently focused on providing mentoring and sales support to businesses across the region.

The workshop will accommodate up to 15 participants and run for 1.5 hours. Space is limited, so it's recommended to book early to secure your spot. These workshops are free and provided by the Pilbara Tourism Association's Warlu Way Tourism Development Program. The program is funded by the Federal Government's Building Better Region Fund.
