Chevron Onslow Relief Fund - Upskill for the Future

We are very excited to launch the second part of the Chevron Onslow Relief Fund to support the Onslow Community during this time of uncertainty resulting from the global outbreak of COVID-19. The Upskill for the Future program has been designed to support those who are unemployed, underemployed or engaged in casual employment to upskill via training by providing grants of up to $2,500 for eligible local residents.

 

The attached documents will cover all of the criteria and application process in detail but for a short summary:

 

You must be over 16 years of age, a resident of Onslow and either unemployed, underemployed or engaged in casual employment to be eligible  and you will be required to provide the following verifying documents with your application:

  • Proof of Age
  • Proof of Residency in Onslow
  • Proof of unemployment, underemployment or casual work status
  • Proof of Australian Residency

Please check through the application form for further details on each of these criteria’s.

 

All training courses commencing by 31 December 2020 offered by a Registered Training Organisation will be considered.

 

All applications will be assessed after the closing date of the 31st of May 2020 and applicants will be advised if successful or not by the 30th June 2020.

In the event of the program being oversubscribed, an independent panel will assess all applications to determine allocation of funding support.
