2019 WA Regional Tourism Conference, Karratha – Registrations Now Open!

The tourism industry’s leading State conference will be held in Karratha on September 16 – 18. The WA Regional Tourism Conference presents an excellent opportunity to hear from leading speakers discussing the critical issues facing the tourism sector, as well as engage in professional and business development, alongside a multitude of networking opportunities. The event is suitable for anyone within the tourism industry, those servicing the tourism industry, or anyone with an interest in this fast-growing and significant sector.

The conference program includes a full-day Aboriginal tourism conference on Monday, September 16, followed by an evening Welcome Function. On Tuesday, September 17, the Regional Tourism Conference takes place followed by the Conference Dinner, including the presentation of the GWN7 Top Tourism Town Awards and Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards for Individual Excellence. On Wednesday, delegates can choose from workshops on photography or tourism distribution, or a tour of Roebourne and Cossack.

The conference is presented jointly by Tourism Council WA, Visitor Centres WA, Caravan Industry Association WA, FACET and WAITOC, and is supported by Tourism Western Australia and the City of Karratha.
